Weekly Topic: Will
Will is the ability to Be; be present when we want to.
We often make plans and decisions for ourselves, only to find that we drift away from them over time. This is often due to a lack of will. For instance, a commitment to wake up at 5:00 a.m. every day is a significant leap from my usual noon wake-up time, making it an unrealistic goal. A more achievable aim would be to start by waking up just 30 minutes earlier than noon.
Weekly Exercise
This week, try to make one small step toward a larger goal. Committing ourselves to “do.”
The thought must occur to be present to one's life, otherwise nothing conscious will happen. — The Teacher
