Weekly Topic: The Mi-Fa Interval

Weekly Exercise

From my friend and fellow student, Astha of the Toronto Centre

Mi Fa is the first interval in an octave. An interval is the only point where the octave comes to a stop or changes direction.

From "A Question of Presence", by Sergio Antonio:

Mi Fa interval can be recognized when there is feeling of confusion, losing the way, waning of energy.

This week’s exercise is to set an aim to brush your teeth with a non-dominant hand for one week. Then observe during the week, the energy of not wanting to continue with that aim. That is likely the predictable Mi-Fa Interval.
