Weekly Topic: Aim
The aim is to make presence stronger and less subject to imagination. —The Teacher
From Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll:
Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don’t know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn’t matter.”
This week, the aim is to refrain from doing two things at once, such as walking or driving and speaking on the cellphone or eating and watching television.
Why not try to do everything with presence? It may sound like an unattainable aim, yet eventually we will be able to do everything with presence. —The Teacher
