A weekly exercise
Each week an exercise will be posted for the aim of living consciously.
“Haste makes waste” is an aphorism written in 1542. All of us, at one time or another, rush around like “chickens without heads”which is quite a morbid expression but very descriptive of our mechanicalness. Both of these sayings depict a state where the moving center is clearly reactionary. In our haste, we are usually unaware and consequently, in an unconscious state. Presence is wasted.
From our teacher, “The lower self likes to look important and move fast bypassing presence.”
This week make an aim to move with Presence. Do not to rush, rather walk slowly and step softly. Dance gracefully through your day. By intentionally slowing yourself down, you may just see that which you would have missed.
