A weekly exercise

Each week an exercise will be posted for the aim of living consciously.

As students, to BE a “Good Householder,” we focus on three lines of work. The first line offers guidance through self remembering which brings us closer to conscious living. Weekly exercises have been posted on this site with the aim of keeping one’s household in order. As awareness increases, we transcend that “foe” in our machine which keeps us in a state of sleep and in the realm of “me.”

The second line offers us connections and shared presence with other students. Good Householder in second line work finds moments of “me” absent. External consideration towards and with others brings order and harmony to our Being.

In Third line work, the Good Householder, by lovingly serving the School and the Teacher, frequently steps over the threshold into the reality of Higher Centers. Third line work is not a task but rather a means to fully engage in Presence. “Me” is irrelevant and has stepped aside.

This week, Be a “Good Householder” as you make an aim to do first, second, or third line work when possible. If you are not yet a student (unable to do third line) Be a “Good Householder” by attending an On-Line Open Meeting or On-Line Open Dialogue Series for interested prospective students scheduled during June and July.
