Weekly Topic: The Emotional Center

Gossip is talking idly, especially about the affairs of others. In other words, gossip is speaking about someone behind their back rather than in front of them. The Emotional Center tries to displace presence with gossip and unnecessary talk.

With regard to unnecessary talk, everything one does not say is a chance to be present, and everything one says is a chance to lose Presence. ─ The Teacher
