Time, in the invisible world, must run backwards. — Rodney Collin
Once upon a time, I read about a theory and its mysteries have been swirling around in my mind ever since. Let us accept Rodney Collin’s above quote to be true, or at least plausible, and ponder the implications without interference from logical mind. Perhaps, try to view it from a higher level of awareness – beyond simple thinking.
Collin compares time to a movie film and projector. He writes, “A film of half an hour’s duration contains as many frames or pictures as a man’s life contains days, so that the analogy is a vivid one. At rest this film is wound upon a reel. Upon being passed through a projector at the proper speed, it gives the illusion of a moving image or living story, and is all the while being wound from the first reel on to a second. When the display is finished the film is now found to be wound on the second reel, but in reverse. In order to make ready for a second showing it must be wound back on to the first reel again. This is usually done mechanically, at great speed, and without using the projecting light, that is, invisibly, in an invisible world.” Collin goes on to explain how this flips our understanding of cause and effect, “if time were reversed then effect would become cause, and cause effect.”
Collin gives examples of what reversed time would look like in the invisible world. In the normal chronology of the visible world, a person gets angry and shouts something negative towards me and I become offended (cause = person’s anger; effect = my resentment). In reverse, the events begin with my resentment. Then my agitated energy is conveyed to – or felt by – the other person, who becomes negative and expresses anger. (cause = my resentment; effect = person’s anger).
In the invisible world, I am a lightning rod and influence the interactions I attract. This means I attract my life and am responsible for my reactions to it. For instance, I cannot blame my low state on other people or events. I am my own internal architect and must be responsible for my attitudes, expressions, and behaviors.
Collin also discusses the notion of light, like time, traveling in the invisible world in reverse. This would mean that we would emit light and not only just receive it. Plato held the belief that beams of light were emitted from the eyes and this was still thought to be true during the Elizabethan Era. Shakespeare referenced it in some of his poetry. Collin states that, “Just as our life evidently springs from the sun, so in the reversal of time would it inevitably return.”
In a higher state of awareness, I emit and receive light and my non-expression of negative emotions, for instance, affects everything around me. I am becoming unified, and all is one, not many. No cause, no effect. No duality.
