Higher Centers

Higher centers are built into the human machine, as part of its hardware. They function whenever the chemical factory manufactures a high enough fuel for them to run on. This is a certain quality of hydrogens 12 and 6. When this fuel stops being produced, they go dormant again. They also function temporarily in situations of great joy or great danger.

Experiences of these higher centers leave behind vivid, photographic traces in our memory. In the whole run of a human life, everyone on the planet perhaps experiences them for an hour, in total. Naturally, they don’t know what the higher centers are, nor do they distinguish these experiences from others.

Higher centers do not wish to be noticed, or to attract attention; they are content simply to be. When they manifest, we know that we are in a distinctly different world. Love, in its truest sense, is a function of higher centers.

When higher centers appear, there is a definite sense of being a stranger in this body and this role. Our visual impressions also become alive in a new way.
