The Fourth Way: System, Theory & Practice

There is one hidden fundamental idea contained in every spiritual teaching or school of enlightenment. G.I. Gurdjieff and P.D. Ouspensky called this idea, Self-remembering: the forgotten ability to be present to each moment of one's life. This key idea is at the heart of our School’s practice. It is also the foundation of every major wisdom tradition throughout history—from ancient Egypt to the modern day—regardless of the name it goes by.
